BACKGROUND
INFORMATION:
Jay Hayes has a total of thirteen years of coaching experience at the
Division I-A level at three high profile programs. He has held positions
of increasing responsibility as a special teams coordinator and defensive
coach of outside linebackers and strong safeties. He has held the position
of special teams coordinator at Notre Dame, the University of California
and the University of Wisconsin, as well as with the Pittsburgh Steelers
and currently with the Minnesota Vikings. Jay is reported to have a bright
future as one of the up-and-coming young coaches in Division I-A.

PROFILE:
Jay is reported to be a hard working individual who brings good organizational
skills and creativity to his job. He is a good recruiter and has demonstrated
the drive and work ethic that will take him to the next level.
